A foreword from the Treasurer Mr Robert Reid.

Below is a final copy of the Clubs Trading Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2020. As everyone is aware, this has been a turbulent year due to the Covid pandemic. As a result, the club has been closed for 29 weeks of the year. This situation has remained the same to the present date and government rules must be adhered to.

With regards to the trading figures, the overall position is a net loss of £46,418. However, the expenses include undermentioned exceptional items:-

£19,500 -   Complete fully certified rewiring of the club. This had to be undertaken to obtain full insurance cover and ensure members safety.

£12,863 -   New roof and guttering's needed to stop leakages and water damage.

We obtained non repayable grants from Barnsley MBC and staff wages furlough claims were made where applicable. The overall grants etc totalled £125,810

Due to the present restrictions, no dates can be made for the A.G.M and / or voting.

If anyone has any valid points on the accounts etc, please email or post to the Secretary.

With regards to 2021, the club is modernising all of the bar areas and plans are being examined with regards to updating all of the Washroom areas.

Yours

Robert Reid (Treasurer)
